Description
Opulent and traditional, this dresser takes its design inspiration from the European styles of antiquity. It marries grand scale with finely crafted detail, shown especially in the hand-carved shell, leaf and scroll motifs that grace the pilasters and feet. The dresser is finished in a waxed, gently distressed Cherry over rustic cherry veneer, with light shading to bring out the rich brown undertones of the wood. Semi-transparent golden tipping adds dimension and serves to highlight the carvings. This dresser has nine English dovetailed drawers, with a velvet-lined jewelry tray in the upper right drawer.
