Ventura and Malibu
Ventura and Malibu Collections feature a rustic contemporary personality and west coast flair. Geometric forms are complemented by floating tops, changing planes, and stepped frames for visual appeal. A creative mix of wire brushed Oak, Travertine, Woven Cane, Nail Heads, and Aged Iron are surrounded by Oak rendered in a Chestnut color, accentuated by wire brushing, staining, spattering, cerusing, dry brushing, and subtle weathering. These hand applied touches make the contemporary styling warm and inviting.
Hardware accents in square knobs with pyramid faces are finished in an aged iron patina. Throughout Ventura, you will see a repetition of the square motif. Used in conjunction with stepped frames on cases, beds and chair backs, the square actually draws your eyes into the piece, giving a feeling of depth. Used as a veneer pattern, the square gives great visual interest to table tops.
