- Finishing process utilizes up to 30 steps, including 13 steps of hand-sanding and accenting.
- All items receive two coats of high solid lacquer for extra depth and long-lasting durability. Case interiors are finished to eliminate unsightly “raw” wood.
- All hardware is die cast for extra long life.
- In some cases, a molded resin is used to simulate wood carvings. On most designs, end panels extend to the floor for added strength and stability. Many cases feature sturdy levelers to permit adjustment on uneven floors. Plastic tack glide or plastic tack strip under all cases prevent floor scratches.
- Drawers feature English dovetail construction at front and back for exceptional strength, plywood drawer bottoms attached to plywood drawer sides with hot glue for strength, and a urethane or high-solids lacquer finish for smoothness and durability.
- Most tops are five-ply tops, which are lumber banded for added edge protection and for stable panel construction.
